Overview Forks campground is located on a hillside overlooking Bass Lake. The camp is forested with cedar, ponderosa pine and oak trees and offers a few sites with limited lake views, while others are adjacent to the creek. Recreation Bass Lake offers a beach and boat ramp.
Sites at Forks Campground (Sierra) are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
