Overview Surrounded by clear waters of Lake Pend Oreille which is Idaho’s biggest and deepest (at 1,158 feet deep, there are only four deeper lakes in the nation), and at 43 miles long (111 miles of shoreline), the newly renovated campground has 17 sites and provides the ideal getaway for people looking for a remote, but highly rewarding, camping experience on the peaceful shores of the Lake. These sites are reached by boat or long walks from the parking lot. Recreation Visitors can enjoy all types of boating from kayaking to canoeing to power boating.
Sites at Green Bay Campground are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
