Overview Reservations will be on the bulletin boards in from of each shelter with the last name of the party on the calendar day reserved -This is a day use area that once a reservation is placed is reserved for the whole day. -Play grounds, fishing areas, restrooms, and grills are all located beside or near by each site. -Alcohol use at these sites is prohibited.
Sites at Buckhorn Day Use are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
