Overview The North Umpqua Wild and Scenic River pauses at Toketee Lake providing a secure home for a wide variety of wildlife. Here beaver and otter make their homes. Great blue heron and kingfishers are joined in fall and winter by ducks, geese, and bald eagles.
Sites at Toketee Lake Campground are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
