Overview Frying Pan Campground is located on the Fishlake Scenic Byway in central Utah, just 3 miles north of Fish Lake, at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Sites at Frying Pan are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
