Overview The Kings Bottom Group Site is located within Kings Bottom Campground along the Colorado River on the paved portion of Kane Creek Road. The rest of the individual sites at Kings Bottom are first-come first-served, and during the busy season this is a highly sought location for its proximity to town, Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, popular 4x4 routes, climbing walls, mountain bike trails, and all the other outdoor activities that draw visitors to Moab.
Sites at Kings Bottom Group Site are reserved through Recreation.gov. Sites here can be reserved in advance through the official system, and they are claimed fast — cancellations then trickle back all season, unannounced, at any hour of the day or night.
