How to actually get a site at Kalaloch — the verified facts, the release reality, and the cancellation route in.
Overview Kalaloch Campground is on the reservation system May 15, 2026 - September 20, 2026. Important changes to the reservation booking windows : To better serve visitors, Kalaloch Campground will be releasing campsites in a series of three staggered block releases by loop. These block releases will be 6 months in advance, two weeks in advance, and 4 days in advance. A and B loop campsites will be available for reservation 6 months in advance. C and D loop campsites will be available for reservations two weeks in advance. E and F loop campsites will be available for reservations 4 days in advance .

Kalaloch is reserved through Recreation.gov, on the release pattern stated in its official listing. In demand, reservable sites are claimed within minutes of each release — which is why the campground reads as sold out for most of the year, and why the realistic route in is rarely the release itself.
